In line with this, the cover design celebrates different meanings of the word “snap” - a click of the fingers in a sudden recognition or a photo that preserves a fleeting moment forever. While a single spark that flares from a match can ignite wider vision, gathered together they can create an Olympic-like flame, signifying a collective passion for art. As a camera shutter opens and closes, aha moments and creative thinking are instantly captured. The curtain with six pleats represents the six human senses, which ArtSnap programmes set out to explore.
